Disclosing damage to shoppers on your website (and any other place that your inventory is listed on) is the first step in building a trusting relationship between you and your potential customer. Building trust usually takes time, but disclosing damage and including photos and/or real video of that damage suggests to the shopper that your business is an honest one. By disclosing the damage up front, the purchase decision becomes that much easier for the shopper. Any shopper should be aware of exactly what they are buying when damaged products are involved, it is in good form of your business to provide this information, as well as it is likely the only chance the individual will continue to do business with you.
