cDemo Privacy Policy

cDemo Mobile Solutions Ltd. is the owner of the brand name cDemo, which governs your access to and use of cDemo as a purchaser of any cDemo service or product. cDemo takes your privacy seriously and is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. This cDemo Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal, private, and business information.

This policy describes how cDemo treats business, private, and personal information that cDemo collects and receives, including information related to your past use of the cDemo Service. Personal, private, and business information is information about you, your business, or physical assets that is personally identifiable, like, but not limited to, your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. cDemo collects, uses, and shares personal, private, and business information in order to operate and safely manage the cDemo platform, system, website(s), mobile applications, software, data management systems, and any other related or unrelated services, products or technology offerings provided by cDemo (referred to herein as cDemo or cDemo Services). This policy is effective June 1, 2015.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that cDemo does not own or control or to people that cDemo does not employ or manage. In addition, certain third-party companies that share data with cDemo, or that cDemo shares data with or that otherwise interact with cDemo and cDemo data may have their own privacy statements and policies that cDemo does not control and which may govern and describe how your information and data is used by such third-party companies.

Information Collection and Use 

cDemo collects, uses, and discloses, with your consent or as permitted by law, personal and business information when you register with cDemo, when you use the cDemo Services, when you visit cDemo web pages or the web pages of cDemo partners, through electronic forms on cDemo websites and systems, when you use cDemo mobile applications, through electronic data feeds and offline communications including but not limited to telephone conversations and paper forms and through any other method in which your personal, private or business information is otherwise supplied to cDemo. cDemo may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies and third parties.

When you register to use cDemo Services, we may ask for information such as, but not limited to, your name, email address, birth date, gender, zip or postal code, occupation, industry, financial information, personal interests, and other personal information. For some financial services and/or transactions, we may also ask for your address, Social Security / Social Insurance number, credit card, or other payment method information. You retain the right to refuse to provide any information requested by electing not to complete the registration or payment process.

We ask that children under the age of 18 not submit any personal information to cDemo and require all children under the age of 18 to use this Site under the direct supervision of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).

cDemo collects information about your transactions with cDemo and some of cDemo’s business partners and other third parties, including information to facilitate your use of cDemo Services.

Using cDemo Services to collect, manage, and distribute data to cDemo and third-party systems may require that we securely transmit your personal, private, and business information, such as, but not limited to, your relevant username, password and/or other personal, private or business information or data directly to such third party systems. By using cDemo Services, products, and/or other tools, including but not limited to from within cDemo Services, to access or otherwise perform any action connected with your cDemo or a third-party system account, you are authorizing cDemo to transmit the provided information to any relevant third party and retain an archive of the transaction on cDemo servers. In addition, an authorized representative of the third party may occasionally request your contact information to resolve a service issue or dispute. In such cases, the information provided will be limited to contact name(s), telephone number(s) and/or email address(es) associated with your account or any other relevant information as may be required.

cDemo may automatically receive and record information in cDemo server logs from your browser, including but not limited to your IP address, data and information you create in or submit to cDemo, the page you request, and other navigational information about where you go and what you access on cDemo website(s) and applications. Your Internet service provider may automatically provide information about you to cDemo, such as its website address and possibly your email address or other information or data. We may collect information that you send to cDemo in an e-mail message or letter and information that you submit to cDemo in a CGI or other script-based form. Email sent to cDemo may not be secure. If you choose to send cDemo an email message or letter, you consent to cDemo’s retention of the content of the message, your email or physical address, and cDemo’s response.

Consent to collect, use, and distribute personal, private, and business information and data

Your consent for cDemo to collect, use, and distribute your personal, private, and business information or data may be expressed or implied, depending on the circumstances and the sensitivity of the personal, private, and business information in question. For example, in most cases, your consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal, private, and business information by cDemo may be implied by the fact that you have engaged cDemo to provide cDemo Services and have willingly accessed and used cDemo Services. If you provide personal, private, or business information or data about another person or party or a physical asset to cDemo, then we assume you have the consent of that individual, party, or the owner of the asset to enable cDemo to collect, use or disclose such information or data as described in this cDemo Privacy Policy. If you choose to provide personal information or data to cDemo or to contact cDemo or any cDemo representative by phone, email, or any other method, we assume that you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of such information or data as outlined in this cDemo Privacy Policy and that your consent to receive communication from cDemo in any form, including by electronic mail, phone or any other method, is implied.

Your consent and agreement to this cDemo Privacy Policy and the cDemo Terms of Use constitute an express consent by you allowing cDemo to collect, use, and disclose your information as described in this cDemo Privacy Policy as well as your express consent to receive communication from cDemo in any form, including by electronic mail, phone or any other method. Your consent to receive such communication can be withdrawn at any time by contacting cDemo by phone at 888-449-4634 or by emailing support@cDemo.com, providing your full name, email address, and/or phone number as may be applicable and a clear statement that you would like to withdraw your consent to receive communications from cDemo. If you do not consent, please do not provide your personal, private, or business information or data, do not access or use cDemo Services, or, where applicable, exercise the opt-in or opt-out options that may be offered or available. Note that if you withdraw your consent to certain uses of your personal, private, or business information or data, we may no longer be able to provide cDemo Services or engage in further communication with you.

Agreeing to Utilize the YouTube API Client via the DataDriver Application:

As a user, if you choose to connect your YouTube account via the DataDriver application, you are notified that the API Client uses YouTube Services.

Connecting your YouTube account via the DataDriver application means you have agreed to the policies outlined in the Google Privacy Policy at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy

By utilizing the YouTube API Client via DataDriver, the application will authenticate with YouTube using “Google Sign-In.” During this process, the application stores your name, email address, avatar, and device UID number. This information is only used for display purposes to the user when they log into the DataDriver application.

DataDriver obtains an access token to your account via the Google Sign-in process. The token is used to access the YouTube API to upload your video to your YouTube account.

The DataDriver application saves each video ID to embed the video ID on your vehicle display pages.

Deleting Stored Data and Revoking API Client Access. Users can email support@cdemo.com to request that all stored data be deleted and can revoke access to their data via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/

cDemo usage of personal, private, or business information:

cDemo uses users’ personal, private and business information to provide cDemo Services, fulfill user requests for data collection or any other cDemo Services, improve cDemo Services, provide service and support, notify users online or offline about new offers, services, marketing and promotional offers, system notifications or updates, collect fees owed, customize users√ï experiences, improve and measure interest in cDemo Services, identify and protect the cDemo company and assets from fraudulent or otherwise criminal activity, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients, to encourage safe trading and otherwise enforce cDemo policies.

cDemo does not rent, sell, or share personal, private, or business information with other people or non-affiliated companies without your explicit consent except to provide products or services you’ve requested or under the following circumstances:

cDemo may occasionally enlist the services of a third party to provide you with the requested services, including but not limited to data suppliers, payment processors, advertisers, third-party companies, systems, or listing websites. In such cases, we may provide some of your personal, private, or business information directly to the service provider to facilitate the effective delivery of your requested services and cDemo Services. These third-party providers may be bound by agreements or policies of their own that are not under cDemo’s control. Any personal, private, or business information provided by cDemo on your behalf to any such third party is at your discretion. It may be governed in accordance with privacy policies or other terms of use between such a third party and yourself if not governed by this cDemo Privacy Policy.

To protect consumers and businesses, cDemo may cooperate with law enforcement agencies and inquiries. When requested by a verified law enforcement or government official concerning an alleged illegal activity or criminal investigation, you authorize cDemo to disclose your name(s), mailing and billing address(es), telephone number(s), and email address(es), and cDemo UserID(s) and comprehensive history of activity on cDemo Site(s) and systems and any other personal, private or business information or data without a subpoena. cDemo may also respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes or turn over other personal information to exercise cDemo’s legal rights or defend against legal claims.

Given the constant evolution of international, national, and local regulations, we cannot ensure that your information and communications will never be disclosed or intercepted in ways not outlined within this Policy. cDemo uses industry-standard practices to protect your privacy, but we do not promise (nor should you expect) that information intended to remain private will always remain so.

We believe it is necessary to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the cDemo Terms of Use or this cDemo Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required by law.

cDemo may share some or all of your personal information with another business entity if cDemo is acquired by that business entity, has plans to merge with, or actually merge with that business entity. In this event, we may notify you but are not required to do so before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

cDemo may display targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria. Any advertising or other links to other websites available through cDemo systems and website(s) are provided solely for your convenience. cDemo is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such websites. To help protect your privacy, we recommend that you review the Privacy Policy of any site you visit via a link from any of the cDemo websites, cDemo systems, or cDemo Services.

Compliance with Google’s Limited Use Policy:

The DataDriver app’s use and transfer to any other app containing information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services’ User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.”

Cookies

Certain pages of cDemo Services may employ or access Cookies or other methods as a tracking mechanism for cDemo promotion and marketing efforts, to analyze the flow of the cDemo website, and to conduct other analysis and functions as needed or as desired by cDemo. Certain features on cDemo websites or cDemo Services may require the use of cookies.

cDemo may let other companies that show advertisements on cDemo websites or portions of other cDemo Services set their cookies and access them on your computer. Other company’s use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not cDemo. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to cDemo cookies.

cDemo may use web beacons to access cDemo cookies inside and outside the cDemo network of websites and in connection with cDemo Services.

Confidentiality and Security

We limit access to personal information about you to employees and independent contractors who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or to do their jobs. Your information is stored on cDemo servers located in Canada, the USA, and other countries. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your personal information. Fool-proof security on the Internet, however, cannot be guaranteed, nor does it exist.

Agreement to and Changes to this Privacy Policy

cDemo may periodically update this policy as desired. We may notify you about significant changes in how we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your cDemo account or placing a prominent notice on cDemo websites or cDemo Services. Changes to the cDemo Privacy Policy will be automatically effective when posted on the site, or notification has been sent. Your continued use of cDemo websites and cDemo Services constitutes acceptance of the provisions of the cDemo Privacy Policy, and your continued usage after any changes to the cDemo Privacy Policy are posted constitutes acceptance of each revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of the cDemo Privacy Policy or any revised cDemo Privacy Policy, exit the cDemo website or cDemo Services and cease use of any cDemo Services or systems immediately.
